CO2 Roadmap
An international collaboration
I collaborated with Positive Impact, a Finnish digital agency focused on sustainability, through the CO2 Roadmap project, which aims to promote corporate environmental responsibility. My role was to create a website to present this solution, which includes a CO2 emissions calculator and planning tools for companies looking to improve their environmental impact.
A project realized from A to Z
The main challenges were related to designing an attractive and informative interface to present the CO2 Roadmap solution, and adapting the site for a multilingual audience. Coordinating with designers to translate complex information into a visually engaging format, while facing unexpected technical constraints, required effective communication and planning.
Teamwork
Collaborating with the Positive Impact team was essential to overcome design challenges. We used Next.js to optimize SEO with Server Side Rendering, and Tailwind CSS to speed up development while adhering to UI/UX standards. Internationalization was also addressed, contributing to the creation of an efficient and accessible website.
A technical project
This project allowed me to deepen my knowledge of React, and especially of Next.js. Moreover, working in an international context strengthened my ability to work and communicate within a collective. Lastly, I was able to see the concrete impact that digital can have on companies' environmental initiatives.
